Love Mexico as its name stands for, showcases the benefits, luxury and perks that the Mexican destinations have to offer to the North American market. Each year, Love Mexico puts together a network and business opportunity to more than 200 wedding professionals arriving from all over the U.S. and Canada, and 90 Mexican companies or destinations with an enormous variety of properties, services and high end products.

The all-new Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya will be the host venue of this special 6th edition. Out of a commitment to always offer the best of the best, Love Mexico has partnered with the Hard Rock Hotel’s All Inclusive Collection to offer agents and wedding planners a chance to experience the ultimate vacation for guests of all ages. The conference will be held from December 8th to the 11th, providing an integral program for wedding planners and travel agents, so each group can fulfill its educational program in the area they specialize in!

To add to the excitement, this year’s conference will feature a special keynote session with Colin Cowie, world-renowned celebrity event and wedding planner, who has an exclusive partnership with the Hard Rock Hotel’s All Inclusive Collection.

Following the conference, the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel Cancun will host the group for a 3-day post tour. Travel agents will experience the Weddings on the Water Travel Agent Specialist program and become a certified WOW specialist, as well as experience firsthand what the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels offer wedding professionals and their clients.

Some interesting wedding industry details, each year 350,000 destination weddings take place in the USA, representing 24% of all weddings. Also from 4 couples nearly 1 has a destination wedding with an average of 86 guests. 30% of destination weddings take place outside the US, being the Caribbean and Mexico the most popular wedding locations.

The average destination bride is 30 years old. 51% of destination wedding couples need a wedding planner and 86% of couples still plan to take a honeymoon after their destination wedding.

International destination weddings last longer, nearly 7 to 10, the international weddings last three or more days,  and nearly half last four or more days. The average spend is $20,890 not including honeymoon, engagement ring or travel expenses.
